PSWGA is working with PA Fibershed to create a channel of communication between wool producers and wool consumers. It is common that we hear farmers say that they do not have a market for their wool, and yet it is also common to hear fiber enthusiasts say that they cannot find wool to work with. There are several steps along the path from sheep to consumer, and we believe that by understanding the expectations, limitations and perceptions of the people at each step, we can better serve the consumer with a high quality product.
